Abstract

Hamamizade İsmail Dede Efendi House is located in Istanbul Sultanahmet Cankurtaran Ahırkapı Sk.No:17. Today, it serves as the building of the Turkish Historical Houses Protection Association and the Hamamizade İsmail Dede Efendi Music Museum. Since it serves both as a museum and hosts the association's cultural activities, it can be shown as a good example of the sustainability of cultural heritage due to its active use and successful restoration in the past.
